Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility is to provide a clean, sanitary, and pleasant hospital environment. Requires working in all areas of the facility, wherever assigned. Other responsibilities include, daily documentation of work assignments and area completed. Documenting patient care/non-patient care hours worked. Assist in working with new employees and sharing knowledge.

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Prefer high school graduate or GED equivalent. Previous housekeeping helpful. 2. Must be able to follow oral or written instructions. Knowledge and ability to use cleaning equipment. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Able to work in a latex burdened environment. 2. Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., reach, pull, stoop, bend. 3. Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable lenses in order to record information and read labels accurately to prepare cleaning solutions. 4. Able to verbally communicate effectively. JOB RELATIONSHIPS: 1. Responsible to Facilities Director and Environmental Services Supervisor.
