Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

Required:
- High School Diploma or GED certification or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of demonstrated and related work experience within a native organization or community and/or any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling seven (7) years.
- 3. Must have a basic understanding of the Tiwa language.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.

Licensing Status
|
- Must be able to successfully pass a Background and Character Investigation in compliance with PL 101.630.
- Will require a post-offer, pre-employment and random drug screening.

Working Conditions
|
- Duties are performed indoors.
- Work is normally performed on weekdays, although weekend and evening work may be required.
- Subject to hazards such as driving in traffic.
- Duties may involve walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and standing.
- Specific required movements include the following: (25 lbs., maximum)
- Trunk – bend, twist, rotate, push, pull, carry.
- Arms – reach, carry, push, pull, twist, rotate.
- Legs – push, pull, twist, rotate, balance.
- Hands – grasp, manipulate, eye and hand coordination.
