Call Center – Work From Home – Insurance Claims (Non Licensed)

Opportunity Description:

Do you learn quickly, enjoy helping people, and have a keen eye for detail? Are you empathetic, compassionate, and able to easily make a connection with others? If so then becoming an independent customer service contractor for LiveOps’ insurance claims program may be a great business opportunity for you to work from home and be a business owner.

LiveOps is looking for caring, dedicated professionals to work as independent customer service contractors answering insurance claims phone calls on behalf of our client. As an independent insurance claims agent, you will provide front line service to those who have been in an accident or natural disaster by thoughtfully collecting the caller’s information, entering it into the computer, and providing them with accurate information about what to expect during the claims process.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys helping people and has that ability to be compassionate while staying focused on what needs to happen next. Remote contractor agents enjoy flexible scheduling and work that they can do from home or from another location of their choosing.

What are the Calls Like
You will be the voice on the other end of the phone when someone calls to report an insurance claim. These callers are people like your friends, family, and neighbors. Their life has been interrupted by an accident or natural disaster and they want reassurance that filing this claim is going to help them put their life back together. They may be upset and emotional and will need your compassion and patience to help walk them through the claims process.

During the call you will collect the caller’s information, enter it into the computer, and provide them with accurate information about what to expect during the claims process.
Earning Potential
Independent agents earn money for time spent talking on the phone and may also receive performance-based pay, or incentives. The talk-time rate is $0.25 cents per minute of talk time.
Calls typically come in weekdays between 9 am and 6 pm eastern time. The hours available can be expanded when catastrophic events occur such as floods, severe storms, or hurricanes. If your business is not available to provide services during these hours, please do not submit an application.
Independent agents make their own schedule by self-scheduling to take calls in 30-minute blocks. Independent agents can self-schedule to commit to specified time blocks that work best for them. The client requires independent claims agents to self-schedule a minimum of 15 self-scheduled 30-minute blocks per week or 60 self-scheduled 30-minute blocks per month.
