This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Receivable for all divisions of HE&R.  Accounts Receivable functions include verifying charges and creating invoices, applying payments, researching discrepancies, and following up with aging accounts.  This role supports both Accounting and Operations partners, while providing excellent customer service to both our internal and external customers.

Job Functions (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):

  • Generate invoices by compiling all charges related to the event and submit to clients in a timely and professional manner. Respond to any guest questions and post approved adjustments to invoices as needed.*
  • Reconcile banquet event orders to banquet checks on a daily basis to ensure accuracy, resolve any discrepancies, and verify daily postings.*
  • Post customer payments related to accounts receivable transactions.*
  • Identify, research and resolve guest inquiries/charges in a timely manner for all properties.*
  • Adhering to governing policies, complete collections efforts on past due invoices via phone, email, and/or mail and produce monthly aging reports to summarize collection efforts.*
  • Prepare and verify commission reports.
  • Research and respond to credit card disputes.*
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts receivable.
  • Maintain files and records for designated retention periods.
  • Exemplify HE&R’s core values on a daily basis.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Completion of high school or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Industry Experience - Financial Services
  • Associate’s degree
  • Experience in providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
